on our 1st day nite, (oopps..i forgot to mention that we had coconut for 10baht each only)we actually bumped into Mr.Rick again and after some short discussion, we again hire him to be our personal 1 day tour guide for 2nd day. Schedule was to visit Tiger Cave Temple, Emerald Pool a.k.a Crystal Pool and oso Hot Spring. He charged 2000baht for the 3 of us. (cheap because if we were to take up the 1 day tour offered at the hotel, was at 1200 baht per person) So he told us he will pick us up from the hotel at 8.30am.
2nd day - we woke up at 7am (Thailand time), bath n get ready. We went and survey whats available for breakfast nearby hotel ( City Hotel does not provide breakfast ) and we found this small restaurant that sells pork noodle. We saw lots of pork balls, pork intestines on display but due to language communication, we only pointed what we want to the uncle...you can opt for bihun , kueyteow or mee. i chose bihun...

trust me..this was very good..the soup was very flavourful..very good and its only at 30baht per bowl. oohh.and they provide free drinking water...

after a good and delicious breakfast, we walk back to the hotel to meet Rick...set to go ...

First destination was Tiger Cave Temple, where there is huge "Kuan Yin"statue. There is a stall selling different colours of joss stick according to days. At first we thought, since today is Friday, so we shud buy Friday but the nun there told us that we shud buy according to the day we are born, i was like thinking "how am i suppose to know inthe year 1985, which day i was born in" , then she probably figure out we were thinking on how..den she says we can check with our mobile.Jus key in the date den we can see which day we were born in. Mine is Friday. so i bought the blue colour.Price at 20baht per set ( every set includes a few joss sticks, a chrysanthemum and a candle). U can offer prayers right infront of this "Kuan Yin" statue.

view from 551 steps..me and estee stopped here as i was feeling nausea and dizzy..but eric went up and took some photos..mostly gold statues

Me and estee went down to wait for Eric to come down,and when he is on his way down, we saw him barefooted, he said the monkeys has taken his shoes..after that we went to see a tree that is said to be 1000yrs old and we walked like another 1.5km into the woods to see the tree

Next destination : Emerald Pool a.ka. Crystal Pool

we walked another 2km on a muddy road+drizzling before we reach the Emerald Pool.

when we reach, we are so excited..dare not jump straight into it afraid it might be too deep,so me n estee like 2 little girls sitting by the side trying to do down slowly,testing how deep this natural pool is....>.<>

After that we went for lunch.

fried sotong with lots of fried garlic - this was reli good.Very fragant..but too bad i don't eat garlic.Eric keep say that the garlics are very crunchy

mixed vege - the gravy was darn good...

fried fish cooked in diff types of chilli sauces and also cili padi -my god..this was reli reli reli spicy..we did not finish this..was way too spicy..

my all time favourite papaya salad - very fragant and the dried prawns are very crispy..but not spicy enough>.<

and of course - seafood tomyan gung..this was good..very good! look at the amount of dried cili padi they add in...

Total bill for the 4 of us (including our tour guide) was only 900 baht. (and we had a big pot of white rice and 2 bottles of 1.5litre pepsi) Good & cheap food.

Last destination was suppose to be the hot spring..but we were too tired so we decided to skip the hot spring and instead we went to the factory outlet on our way back to the city..lots of brand there..nike,reebok,adidas,lacoste,reef,billabong.scholl,clarks,roxy,converse and others..did some shopping and head back to hotel and bath and Rick will be coming to pick us up at 7pm(Thai time) to go for massage..hooray!

A pic of us at Kandaman Spa. We were suppose to go to the other one but it was close so Rick brought us here.We opt for the traditional Thai massage at 800 baht per person for 90mins.The lady masseur was reli reli very good..our legs reli need a good massage..

1st day KRABI - 02.04.09

i m back from Krabi for a week and have jus sorted out the pics accordingly( and also to get the rest of the pics from my frens)...was there for 7 days...VERY RELAXING AND VERY TAN AND I MISS OPEN SEA SNORKELLING !

was schedule to depart from LCCT at 12pm Malaysia time but the flight was delayed till 1.45pm..My VERY FIRST DELAYED flight with Air Asia..my previous experience wasnt this bad..anyway..LCCT is more spacious and more comfortable now compared to last year..more retail shops are open now...

since the flight was delayed, i have to called City Hotel@Krabi town to let them know so that they can arrange the transport accordingly as i have booked the transport from airport to our hotel (cost from airport to City Hotel - 400baht(1 private car) ). We boarded the plane at 1.45pm and from KL to Krabi is a journey of 1 hour 20minutes. We were schedule to arrive at Krabi International Airport at 2.05pm Thailand time. ( Thailand is one hour behind us)

Upon arrival, i saw our tour guide (Mr.Rick) holding my name at the arrival hall. From airport to the hotel is a journey of 25minutes. i have booked this hotel name City Hotel at Krabi town for the first 2 nights before we move to stay in Ao Nang. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and what i like best about it was that 7-11 is just right next to the hotel and there is a night market right opposite the hotel.

After we check in, i lied straight on the bed..then my fren suggested that we go buy some snacks and a few bottle of mineral water from 7-11, i say Ok..( will blog later about all the snacks we bought). Then after we return to the hotel, bath and went to the opposite night market to explore and have dinner.

not too sure wat is this.we actually bought this for 5 baht each but when we reach hotel,we couldnt find it...must have accidentally thrown it away...

variety of salads and sticky rice with mango. all at 30baht per plate. we bought the sticky rice with mango..the mango is so so so sweet n juicy..

this one is like thai style otak-otak. and its only 10baht per stick. since we bought other food, we only bought 2 sticks. i find it a bit too dry

variety of ikan bakar price at 30baht per stick...but i m nota fan of fish so i did not buy this..

grilled chicken n fish at 10baht per stick..the chicken was good but the fish tasted weird

glutinuos rice with different fillings, 10baht each.we bought the spicy coconut and yam filling. Personally preferred the spicy coconut feeling, but the yam was very fragrant tho

variety of fruits.price at 25baht per packet. Fruits are very very fresh and sweet>.<

seafood glassnoodle - that was written at the stall. We saw lots of ppl queing up for this so we decided to give it a try. This was awesome..very flavourful and also spicy..personallyi would prefer if this is much more spicy..the glass noodle was very tangy n flavourful..and its only 50baht per plate...

Was at 1U after work to have dinner with Joyce and she decided to bring me to Good Evening Bangkok at New Wing, 1U..if i did not remember wrongly it's near to GAP.

pineapple fried rice with chicken ~ price at rm14.90. Tastewise was Ok Ok only...

good evening combo (consist of mango salad, fried fish cake, money bag and prawn wanton) ~ price at rm16.90. i like this especially the mango salad...

Heard that the green curry is good..will definitely come bac to try again..

Just a normal weekend whr a few close sisters decided to chill at starbucks to gossip and of course to indulge in cheesecakes..Prefer STARBUCKS at The Gardens compare to the one at Mid Valley Megamall...

i m turning 24 in about 72 hours..i m going into the mid-20's
if i can live uptill 72 yrs,i have live one third of my life..
although i have not achieve any great achievements in life but i m happy and contented with wat i have now...

2009 hope to accomplish list :
(i) start my studies in May
(ii) my baking classes
(iii) my jewellery learning classes
(iv) a social worker to an orphanage home in Taman Paramount
(v) of course to spend more quality times wif my family and love ones

Looks simple but i m hoping all these 5 can be accomplish this year !

On a non-related note - i miss jian a lot !

The Loaf,Pavillion

There are still many eateries in Pavillion which i have not try out yet..will take my own sweet time to explore it.......

Was going back to Ipoh for the weekend,so i went to The Loaf and bought their famous mini cheese cupcakes for my family to try..

(top - left to right) ~ strawberry cheese, vanilla cheese and banana cheese

(bottom - left to right) ~ green tea cheese, chocolate cheese and almond lychee cheese

Overall, i only like the strawberry flavour. Cheesy and a bit sourish..the rest i find it too cheesy...If i am not mistaken, its rm2.50 each or rm9.50 for half dozen..I think my favourite will still be marble cheesecake from Starbucks and New York cheesecake from Secret Recipe...;)

2009 CNY Reunion Dinner

How's everyone CNY ? Collected many angpows ?

I had a reli great time back at home.....so good that i don't feel like coming back to KL.

Had my first reunion dinner wif mom side on Saturday. Was a sumptuos meal as grandma prepare all of her grandchildren's favourite food.Me,mom and my cousins went for facial in the morning den after that all of us return to grandma's house to help grandma...

(be prepare to see some reli good food pics...only available at my grandma's house)......

Mixed Veggies ~ cauliflower, carrot, abalone mushrooms, scallops, green peas

Hee Hee Ha Ha Prawns ~ stir fried prawns with onions, garlics and soy sauce

Lettuce Wrap ~ this bowl is a mixture of chinese sausages, fried eggs, green peas, water chestnut and mini scallops. The fresh lettuce leaves were so sweet that it can just be eaten like this. The lettuce leaves are use to wrap this mixture. Very delicious !

Yellow Ginger Chicken ~ grandma use the yellow ginger and marinated it with the chicken for 24 hours. And when we fried it,grandma say we mus put the yellow ginger together and fried it so that it will be more fragrant..This is superb delicious!

Braised Chicken Feet with Mushrooms ~ Grandma braised this from early morning with charcoal. For your information, my grandma still uses charcoal to boil soup.

Braised sea cucumber with scallops,mushrooms and minced chicken ~ thumbs up !!

Steam Cod Fish ~ i was never a fish lover but this cod fish was reli fresh..My grandma told me that good fish meat comes in slices..

Stir fry Sotong with dry chillies ~ this is always my favourite dish.

And of course this meal will not be complete without grandma's soup. I always love the soup that my grandma boils.Everytime when i go home,grandma will definitely boil soup for me..I know grandma start boiling this abalone and pig intestines soup from as early as 6am with charcoal and in between grandma has to keep adding charcoal to make sure the soup keeps boiling..when we had dinner at 7pm,the soup was reli flavourful..U cannot buy this anywhere...

A few more days before CNY ends..Have fun everyone !

i was at 1U the other day but forgot to snap pics of the decoration...but love the huge red traditional lanterns...

Tomoro is Chinese New Year Eve,means it reunion dinner nite.(YEAH !! coz grandma is going to cook lots of real good food..will upload photos later..) Will be having 2 reunion dinner this year. On Sat,will be with mom's side and on Sun will be with dad's side which is in Kampar.......

After work,had dinner wif few close frens. I decided it to be at Canton-i. Heard reviews of this restaurant but have yet to try it myself..and i heard that its a subsidiary of Dragon-i.
A diff concept from Dragon-i.No Ramens and No Xiu Long Bao..
Located at G floor between the old and new wing. Its just right opposite T.G.I.F.

When we arrive at 8plus,the place is still pack with people..luckily one of my frens arrive early,we manage to secure a place at the sofa chairs..

水中花蓝. Flowering Red Amaranth(Marigold,Red Amaranth and Jasmine)~price at rm5.00 - very cute design.my frens and i were looking at how the whole thing was and then we realise that the red flower and the tea leaves were tie together by a thread.

茉莉仙子.Jasmine Faery(Marigold,Red Amaranth and Chrysanthemum)~rm5.00

双拼捞面.Wanton Noodles with any 2 combination. Dry version:rm13.80.Soup version:rm12.80.Options are: wanton,`sui kow`, dumpling, honey glazed roast pork, roast pork belly, japanese pork rib, beef brisket, pork knuckle cantonese shredded meat and mushroom. I chose honey glazed roast pork & roast pork belly and opted for dry version. It was reli good. The skin of roast pork belly was reli crispy and the honey glazed roast port was reli good but a bit too fat...

Stir fry seafood noodle in Hong Kong style~price at rm12.90. Very flavourful with lots of sotongs,prawns and chicken meat.If you are a small eater,i suggest u share it with someone else.

Mongolian style fried kuey tiau with beef. Forget the exact name and price but very nice. Just find it a bit too oily. But if not sufficient amount of oil is use,we might complain that the kuey tiau might not be smooth enough..hehe..Becareful as the black plate is very hot !

XO酱炒箩卜糕.Fried turnip cake with XO sauce ~price at rm12.00. This was reli good. The fried turnip was reli flavourful and the prawns ware big.If we were not too full,definitely would like to order another plate of this.

I love this place for its honey glazed pork and roast pork belly and oso the fried turnip with XO sauce. I heard that the porridge are very good too..Definitely will return again real soon..coz i m a big fan of porrigde..The staffs are all very friendly and nice.You wouldn't have to wait too long for ur orders,but because the place is pack with people,its a bit noisy..but if i m the owner of course i wan it to noisy huh...hehe..

for me..a simple n lovely dinner at Bumbu Bali at Bandar Puteri Puchong wif the jimuis and our god daughter,Chloe..and after dinner we head to Li Ching's place to chat n play wif our little princess.

Before dinner i met up wif Joyce at Bangsar..den went back to her home and bath n get ready for dinner..we were late..Liching was the first to arrive follow by Estee den oni us...

My first time at Bumbu Bali and the food is reli nice and in real big portion..if u r a small eater i suggest u share it...

mojito - combination of mint leaves,lime n soda ~ rm8.90. a very refreshing drink, but if u do not like the taste of mint leaves u might not like it...

apple esplanade - combination of apple, lemon and soda ~ rm8.90. i like this very much. The combination of sweet apple and sourish lemon is just perfect...

Nasi Campur Bumbu Bali ~ rm28.50. This is a must try item in Bumbu Bali. Consists of kangkungs, prawns, sotongs, grilled fish, option of either beef or chicken (i opted for beef...) and some specialty otak otak fr Bumbu Bali. 2 types of chilli sauce and a small plate of fruits. This is real big portion,luckily i shared it with Joyce.

Nasi Ayam Bertutu ~ rm20.50. When this arrive, we were shocked with the size of the chicken.They gave half of the chicken...Taste very good...

They ordered barley lime, lamb and chicken platter( they gave u 3 piece of real big lamb chops), De Megoreng(rice set that comes with a huge drumstick) but i was late so i did not have chance to take pics of them but i can tell you that its in real big portion and very tasty..and the total bill for the 7 of us was rm209. I would say its reasonable for such big portion of food.Will definitely return again to try other food...Although our little princess has yet to get a chance to try all the food but she enjoy the cucumbers that comes with the set...

Attended my best buddy wedding in Ipoh on 27th Dec.2008 at Florex Restaurant. Was a simple but warm wedding dinner. M very happy for my best buddy and got to meet up with lots of secondary frens and lots of catch up with each other...the wedding dinner turn out to be like our gatherings...all leading a diff path now..its been 5 yrs since we left secondary school and MGS definitely gave us lots n lots n lots of sweet memories...

Someone very special to me bought me a box of very very nice chocolate. Heart u so much !

I love it so much till i dun wan to eat it...there are actually 3 flavours -the white chocolate,the normal dairy chocolate and the dark chocolate and my favourite ~ dark chocolate...

Love the box and the shapes of the chocolates too.......

GODIVA, one of my favourite chocolate choice..if anyone of u are nice enuf to get me a box of GODIVA PLATINUM CHOCOLATE BOX for my coming burfday, i m so goin to melt in front of u.....haha..

Another year has past, 2008 coming to an end in bout 2 weeks time..and Christmas is just around the corner...and eventho everyone saying its recession..shopping malls seem to be flooded with ppl. i just wonder how bad is the recession......

2008 - a meaningful year with lots of happening..personally,it has been a great year for myself..having a forever supportive family and good frens to surround u throughout the year is the greatest blessing one can have. I was goin thru some diff moments and i thought it will take me ages to get over it, but i got over it pretty fast.Friends were bringing me around and bringing me for movies and great food to make sure i m smiling again.Thanks to Estee and Eric.(movie,makan and yumcha at Klang..i reli have a great time).Being able to stand up again after i fall, made me grow and learn to see things from diff angles...No words can ever describe the gratitude i have for my family and good frens for helping me go thru all the bad moments and a very special thanks to Joyce. She never gets fed up with my stubborness and my rants..she just listen and listen and listen and listen and listen.......I AM BLESSED

Mum, thank u so much for going thru the hard times with me. Hear me crying so badly on the phone.Talking to u everyday comforts me so much. Thank u for all the presents i get this year. Especially the COACH handbag. I love it so much and will alwiz appreciate it coz i know u never belive in splurging so much for just a handbag but u bought it for me.I had an awesome weekend last week.Only both of us, shopping, eating and like alwiz u listen to me crap, make silly jokes and gossip......and i love skincare shopping with u...I LOVE U !

2009 - a year that i m looking forward to..already enrol in Open Uni for my part time course which is commencing in May. Hoping hard now that i can cope with work and studies at the same time..and if i can cope well, considering to enrol inthe Profesional Baking classes which will be commencing in July. And of course i m looking forward to my trips next year..and to spend more time with all my love ones...

Resolutions for 2009 ? i dun think i m goin to do that this year, i'll just grab every opportunity that comes and make the best out of it. To be honest, how many of us actually achieve wat we write down for our resolutions. I guess some jus wrote it coz it jus like some old routines u have to do when its the end of the year {no offence :) }

I guess i will start blogging again after new year, till then HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS 2008 and HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009.

Jonker Sweets, LG floor , The Gardens

One of the weekends,together with my roomate and my brother we decided to go and watch Madagascar II in MidValley. Being smart, i thought if we were to arrive earlier we will be able tobuy tickets without booking or e-payment BUT i was so so so wrong. The minute i enter MV from carpark, the que was already until the McD ice cream kiosk..OMG !!
so we gave up..change plan..watch on Tuesday night with advance e-payment ticketing..

So we went for lunch at Sushi Zanmai in Gardens..(will blog bout that later)..and after that we went for desserts..was wondering around and thinking whr to have dessert and at the end we settle down at Jonker Sweets located at LG floor at The Gardens.

they call this "Mango Lo Lo" ~ price at rm5.90 . Tastewise,i still think KTZ serves better "Mango Lo Lo"

Honey Dew Lo Lo ~ price at rm5.90

"Pak Kor Fu Chuk" ~ price at rm2.90. Quite flavourful..but i still prefer the one my grandma cooks..

Last week, my jimui came over to my office and pick me up for lunch and she decided on Chinoz and suggested that we share the food. Me and her didnt want a too heavy lunch...

complimentary bread & butter - love the freshness of the bread

lamb cutlets with garlic puree ~ rm23 - the lamb meat was so tender and its goes perfectly well with the garlic puree

oopsss...i forgot the name of this sphagetti but the shrimps are darn fresh...and i think its price at rm38

Overall, i quite like the food here...might give their sandwiches a try in my next visit !

i think i have left my blog untouch for sometime...

the past one month has been an emotional challenging month...

and now at this moment in life,i have never felt so contented and happy...

thank you to my family for the endless love,support and encouragement (especially to mom and grandma..)and a million thanks to the jimuis and close frens who alwiz ensure that i m happy and smiling......

and i have done loads of shopping last month, from tops to dresses to heels and accessories..will upload pics on what i bought last month...

Dearest Family

i had a great raya holiday back at home wif my dearest family...

spent great quality time wif my family...

celebrated my brother's 21st burfday...

i had a terrible september this year but everything turns SUPER OK n SUPER GOOD when i reach home n see those smiles on my lovely family members...

spending time with my cousins and being treated like a little princess by dearest mommy...

i know the journey of life is never an easy journey but i will walk it through with the support and guidance from my family and jimuis and close friends who has never given up on me no matter how bad everything is...

we were a bit undecisive on where to have wilson's farewell dinner on his last day and kevin suggested this German restaurant at Changkat Bukit Bintang. i guess basically everyone agreed....;)

Total 10 of us. We ordered a few mains to be shared among us.

Deutsches Haus Combo - crispy pork knuckle served with baked potatoes,german sausage and marinated onions and garden salad (for 2 person)~ price at RM115

Grilled BBQ platter(for 2 person) - consist of beef,lamb,chicken,fish,german sausages and chips(but since some of them do not take beef, we changed it to chicken) ~ price at RM116

seafood strudel ~ price at rm36

sausage platter - a combination of different types of german sausage ~ price at rm48

baby pork ribs ~ price at rm68

Besides this, some of my them had a few cups of german beer and its price at about rm22 and rm29. Total we ordered 16 cups of beer and guess how much was our total bill ?..............

Overall, i love the crispy skin of the pork knuckle,will definitely bring my dad here the next time he comes down to KL...and oso the baby pork ribs......but they do not have many varieties to choose from. i alwiz do think that great companionships make food tastier.......

had dinner with jimuis on one of the friday nite. Undecided where, we just stroll around Gardens to see if they is any interesting eatery place. We saw this que at this restaurant name Fung Lye and i recall that it was quite a popular restaurant from Taiwan. Since no objection from anyone, we join the que and waited for about 20 minutes before we were seated at a corner of the restaurant with minimal air-con ;)

i miss out this 2 eatery in my previous post.

one night, joyce's thai colleague brought us to this place at the rooftop of the apartment for dinner. Price is reasonable and the view was marvellous. we were able to see the building name "elephant". the shape of the building looked like an elephant.

and the next day we went to siam paragon and we ate at this place name "Vanilla Brasseries".

This shall conclude my long pending Bangkok Trip post......

i m back from Bangkok for more than a month and i have yet to post all the food i tried in Bangkok..so i m goin to summarize everything into 1 post......(its goin to be a super duper long post...)

joyce's Thai fren brought us to this sort-of-like BBQ Plaza place for dinner after we had one whole day shopping at Chatuchak Weekend Market, but seriously this place is somewhere in the housing area and i DEFINITELY do now know the name of this place but i can tell you it taste much better than all the BBQ Plaza Restaurants in Malaysia and its cheap.Its only 129baht(RM12.90) per person and you can eat as much as u want.

I had so much of the chilli sauce..and i didnt drink that much water the whole day,the very next day i woke up with bad sore throat....

This HYPE ASIA RESTAURANT is located somewhere in Siam Square. We were having shopping trips there and do not know whr to stop for lunch and we jus passby this restaurant and decided to give it a try. Price wise is reasonable. One thing i realise bout Bangkok, their pricing for food is not expensive...

We went to floating market the next day, Joyce's fren took a day off to bring us there. Rented the whole boat for person for 300baht(RM30) and we had this dry bihun on the boat. One bowl of dry bihun cost us 20baht(RM2) and a coconut is also 20baht(RM2).

The next day was shopping again, and we had lunch at this place called Yum Saap. Funny name huh....

Overall, we did a lot of shopping this trip.........

we went to this beach on our way back from the Floating Market thus i do not know the name of this beach but there was no one there becoz my Thai fren said it was a weekday. Then we had our lunch there at the beach and the lady there place 2 mats on the sand for us to sit and a mini table. My Thai fren ordered sticky rice, glass noodle seafood salad, papaya salad wif salted crab, grilled pork and fried pork. From this beach, it took about 3 hours to drive back to Bangkok City.

The total bill was less than RM50 plus our drinks and the sticky rice we had. I love the fried pork a lot and the papaya salad but my fren say the papaya salad was too spicy but the best was the view of the beach...

one of those weekends i was at Ikano to give my fren a visit, my fren suggested to try this place name Absolute Thai.

we went to Paddington Pancake House at The Gardens to celebrate Liching's be-earlier burfday.

but this time oni Joyce and me made it..total 4 of us including liching's husband..

TOKYO - grilled chicken breast,tomatoes,chicken ham,oyster mushroom,mozarella served with rolled pannekoek & mashed potatoes~ price at 18.50

Sizzling premium Argentinian tenderloin - 300g serving with peach and plum salad and passionfruit mustard dressing ~ price at rm39.50

Treasure box - bite size dollar pancakes with strawberries,bananas,plums,peaches,raisins,nuts,cinnamon and ice cream ~ price at rm17.00

forgot to take down the name of this too.....(but i heart this !)

Overall, we love their dessert more than their mains and from what we observed, usually people come for their dessert...
All 4 of us love both the dessert a lot especially Treasure box.....i would say this is place great for dessert.as for their mains, i guess there are something special because all their mains are served with different types of pancakes..a new way of eating pancakes instead ofthe traditional pancakes..and not to forget that their menu is very colourful and interesting..u will need sometime to browse thru and enjoy the menu book.

Name of the food court : Food Republic ( i heard its a famous chain of food court in Singapore )

me and my colleagues are always undecisive of where to lunch to out of sudden we suggest Pavillion Food court. 2 reasons,firstly i haven try before and secondly, i wan to buy john king egg tarts...

there are variety to choose from so i'll just show u the pics of wat me n my colleagues had...

Overall, i guess the food here are ok..i will come back again to try others but at the moment now i heart the stall name Vietnam Kitchen !!

i think i have been going for a lot of japanese food lately but i just cant resist japanese food........

this time...the destination is Yo! Sushi at Pavillion...

Overall, the food here are fresh( no objection from my fren either) and i was lucky that day i got to see how they actually cut the sashimis...the evil and greedy apple has never seen ppl cut sashimis ;)

If you are a miso soup lover, price at rm5 but its refillable...but i m a bit dissapointed with the macha ice cream with red bean...( whr can i find very very nice macha ice cream with red bean ??any suggestions ? ) The price here is above average. If i m not wrong the purple colour plate is RM10, the orange is RM8 per plate and the pink is rm14 per plate...and the total bill for 2 of us was rm130 plus.....

i went to Pavillion foodcourt for lunch today with my colleagues..and its my first time trying out Pavillion's foodcourt( will blog about the food later) coz i wan to blog bout the egg tarts..

i think most of u have heard bout John King egg tarts at Pavillion. i tried once previously and i love their green tea egg tarts and today they are having promotion..buy 6 get 1 free so the evil and greedy apple bought 6 egg tarts.

i bought 2 green tea egg tarts,2 egg white egg tarts and 2 original egg tarts and for the free one i chose the coffee egg tart.

original egg tart ~ price at rm1.60 per piece

green tea egg tart ~ price at rm1.80 per piece

egg white egg tart ~ price at rm1.70 per piece (apple's favourite)

i was at PJ during weekend and joyce suggest that we go to uptown and have lunch and to go shopping at cats whiskers because cats whiskers was having sales but we din buy anything at the end ;(

so we decided to go to iZZi for lunch coz Joyce told me they were having 50% off their ala carte menu (except for drinks and dessert). although they dun have 50% for dessert but it was at special price.all cakes are price at rm4.90.

both joyce and me were so hungry we ordered 2 types of cake while waiting for our mains to arrive.

green tea cake - green tea has been something i alwiz favour but joyce commented tat it tasted a bit bitter due to the green tea powder on top of the cake .

mango cake- there are slices of mango in the cake and it is not too sweet as both joyce and i dont favour too sweet food...

iZZi'z chicken wings in BBQ sauce - price at rm12.80 (after 50% = rm6.40) this chicken wing has always been my favourite

fettucinni con funghi - price at rm18.80 (after 50% = rm9.40). i think this was pretty tasteless. both of us added chilli flakes to it and extra cheese.

beef n "iZZi" - price at rm24.30 for regular (after 50%= rm12.15). this definitely has me n joyce vote. thumbs up !

this is a way outdated post...my colleague like to hang out at this place for hapy hour and their pork knuckles...this is actually a german restaurant tat serves good pork knuckles. i heard they have other outlets besides this one in Jalan Yap Kwan Seng but according to my colleague this outlet serves the best pork knuckles.

complimentary buns and butter - what i love about their buns is that it is serve freshly baked from the oven...

the must order pork knuckles among my colleague.if i m not mistaken it is price at rm25.oo. i only love the crispy skin...

i had this sausage but i forgot the name. price at rm16.90. they have various types of sausages for u decide on.

the evil n greedy me wanted dessert so i ordered crumble apple pie with ice cream but i forgot the price..and at the end i didnt finish it but luckily my colleague help me to finish it...

i've been to this place for a number of times becoz my colleagues like to come here for happy hour...overall its a goodplace for friends get together and to enjoy diff types of german beer here. Do give this place a try if u happen to be in KL area...

Last weekend, we the jimuis went down to Klang to celebrate Estee's belated burfday and its Estee's boyfriend treat..Dinner was at Telok Gong and if i m not mistaken the name of the restaurant is Coconut Flower. There are few other restaurants there but this one seems to be crowded with people. By the way, my last visit was one year ago.........Estee's boyfriend decided on all the dish...

coconut prawn tomyam - this definitely has my vote..the tomyam soup was very very flavourful...

"kam heong" bamboo clam - this one taste so-so only...i find it a bit too salty but best to go with rice

fried butter prawns - this one tasted good......

steam pomfret - dissapointment. the fishes were not fresh.seems like frozen fish......

"la la" bihun - we had 2 plates of this..my friend's boyfren say this is a must order item

fried butter and salted egg york crab - the crabs were pretty small and this one tasted below expectation...i only have 1 piece.

"kam heong" crab - again the crabs were pretty small but this tasted much better than the butter and salted egg york crab.....

"fu yu yau mak" - sorry, i dont know the name of this in english...

Overall, i think the standard of the food has tremendously drop compare to last year...probably too many ppl visiting this place thus everything has to be fast so when everything needs to be fast,food quality drops.. (is there such theory ?? ) haha......but the companionship of jimuis was reli great even tho this time not the complete 7 of us oso....

We will be having another burfday lunch gathering next month for the mummy-to-be..so i m praying real hard that this time will be the complete 7 of us before the mummy-to-be goes into labour....

Joyce decided to bring to Damansara Perdana for late lunch. we wanted to go to another restaurant but it wasnt open till 5pm so we went to Friendster Cafe. i've heard of this place before but have yet to give it a try...

environment wise very comfy...( i forget to snap pics of the environment...)but personally i like their magazine corner...and their dessert corner........

mango tea friendstercino ~ price at rm10.50. it was reli hot tat day so this was real good thirst quencher but tastewise..normal ice blended mango tea...

hot honey green tea - forgot the price

nasi goreng kerabu ~ price at rm12.90.fried rice with chilli chicken served with stuffed fish, salted egg and fish crackers

cantonese style ~ price at rm12.90. with choice of kuay teow, yellow mee or yee mee, with seafood in white egg sauce. i find this a bit too saltish...

Overall ,i think the food here are ok ok.. i guess its the environment and the lifestyle we have now, we prefer places like this for get together, lunch and hang out....

Last week, me and my colleagues went out for dinner..

this time we had seafood..and at last i get to try to famous Fatty Crab Restaurant located at Taman Megah...dun think of asking me how to go coz i didnt drive there ( i was never good at directions..sorry )

Total 11 of us. There were not much choices of food to choose from. So basically we ordered the few dishes available.

fried chicken wing ~ price at rm2.00 per pair. this tasted very good with the chilli sauce...and the best was it was served hot ...

century egg with preserved ginger - ohh..century egg with preserved ginger,my all time favourite!!

the must order fried rice to go with the sauce of the spicy and sour crab that we ordered.

of crab.. The crab..YUM

spicy and sour crab-YUMMY !!we ordered 6 kgs of crab. cure my cravings for crabs.i was craving for crabs for weeks...the sauce was simply delicious.it goes so well with the rice and the "roti bakar" that we ordered ! The best dish of the nite !

i don't remember the name of this dish.its the only fish that they served and only has 1 way of cooking it...taste wise, nothing special..

Actually we ordered prawns as well but i forgot to snap a picture of it, but i find the prawns were overpriced. The plate has 12 medium size prawns and guess how much was that plate of prawns ? they charged us rm56.oo for 12 medium size prawns...

Overall, the best dish goes to the Crab..........

If u are craving for crabs, do give this place a try. I think this place is around SS2 but exact location..i don't know.

I dont exactly know where this place is and the name of this shop but my friend brought me there for lunch one weekend. i think its located somewhere around the shops behind Times Square....
I heard their pork noodle was good and the uncle who is selling this noodle was very courteous.......
it look similar to wat i had in 3JC in sunway pyramid but i can tell u this tasted so much better.

i guess a lot of ppl have tried this place huh ? i heard its very popular among the students there...

thanks to my good good good and best best best friend who brought me to this place and he mention that the rojak there taste good too but i have yet to try...

me n joyce went and had lunch wif my uncle one of the weekends and my uncle suggest that we go to the newly open restaurant cum bar cum pub name Centro, located at Sooka Sentral. Sooka Sentral is a newly open place in KL Sentral. This place is very new. Other restaurants open there are Kiliney Kopitiam, Zen , Chilli Espresso.

Centro, i guess the place is new, we were the only table dining there for lunch. It serves western n local cuisine as well.

Penne Arabbiata - tube pasta with chillies, tomatoes, fresh herbs, beef bacon, mushroom and parmesan cheese ~ price at rm20.50. oohh i heart this alot...

hawaiian toast - turkey ham, pineapple, onions and melted cheddar cheeseon toasted bread served with potato wedges and coleslaw ~ price at rm17.50

Overall, i love the food here especially the pasta. The environment here is also very comfortable but i think during night time they have live band..will definitely come bac night time to see the difference. Most important, thanks to my uncle who footed the bill... :)

at last, i have sometime to myself to update my blog...

i think i should be more hardworking so tat i m able to post all the food that i have tried lately... (**keeping my fingers crossed )

my 2nd visit to Sakae Sushi, this time at Pavillion outlet. we had a movie to catch so we had a quick lunch..

soft shell crab temaki ~ this one..i reli have no comment..

Overall, the food is out of expectation. I had a good try at Sakae Sushi in Bukit Tinggi but this one is reli dissapointment. Sashimis were not fresh, sushi tasted below normal. I personally thinks that Genki Sushi and Sushi King taste so much better...My friend says the food here lacks the "oommphh..."

i guess won't be returning anytime soon to this place..

Liching's home, Puchong

Liching's home. That is not the name of a restaurant. Its my jimuis place. Her new home in Puchong. We went n visit her..a very cosy and comfy home. Again not the 7 of us. only 5 of us manage to make it to liching's place..( we must punish teresa oredi..)

We had a great time.we chat n laugh non stop and gamble..haha...

and we had McD delivery for dinner. lazy to go out coz we were stil gambling..haha..but McD tasted too good last nite with the companions of the jimuis.

burfday dinner with jimuis was at The Apartment, The Curve..

heard lots of not so good reviews about it bout we still decide to go ahead and give it a try..

at first dinner was set at 8pm but then everyone was late and we started dinner at 9pm..( my fault coz apple left the office late..)

estee message me telling me that she wouldn't be able to make it coz she will finish work very late but will ask eric to stop by and pass me a burfday present.so when i arrive at about 8.30 i gave eric a call and waited for him in front of The Apartment, and when i saw him, estee came from behind..she was the present...I WAS SURPRISE ! was reli feeling so hapy coz estee manage to make it to the dinner.

a simple introduction about "The Apartment" - the whole restaurant is renovated like an apartment.They have bedroom area, kitchen area, dining hall area, study room area and even bathroom.

ice lemon tea ~ price at rm6.50

watermelon juice ~ price at rm6.50

lemonade ~ price at rm6.50

"roasted stuff chicken" served with crispy herb bread topped with mushroom cream sauce and baked potatoes and tomatoes ~ price at rm26.90. i like the crispy herb bread. the chicken tasted normal.

apartment sauce mussels(honey,lime,chilli & ginger) ~ price at rm12.90 ( u can opt for clams if u dont so like mussels ) The mussels are very fresh. They are a variety of sauce for u to choose from.

"baked fish"-baked dory topped with cherry tomatoes ith gratin of mozarella and parmesan with saute potatoes ~ price at rm19.90. I think the mozarella and parmesan is a bit too much that is covers up the taste of the fish.

"stuffed squid" -stuffed squids with shallots, mint, parsley, and parmesan in tomato white wine sauce ~ price at rm16.90. this dish has all the jimuis votes.squid was very fresh and the sauce goes very well with the freshly toasted bread. THUMBS UP !!

"jamie's duck pasta" - fettuccine with shredded slow-roasted duck and tomoto red wine ragu,topped with roasted pine nuts ~ price at rm23.90.

"andrews pasta" -sauteed potatoes and asparagus tossed with linguine and pesto ~ price at rm14.90.another dish that has all the jimuis votes..YUMMY !!

"strawberry mint parfait" - perfectly layered parfait of fresh strawberries, finger sponge and minted cream ~ price at rm8.90. i only love the strawberries.....

"crunchy walnut crepes" - richly texture crepe with brown sugar and crushed walnut smooth in an avalanche of sweet caramel sauce ~ price at rm6.90.

my 2 burfday cupcakes that Joyce bought for me! i know she took the effort to walk to the newly open cupcake shop and bought it.Thank u !! i love the cupcakes so much.on the left is chocolate vanilla and on the left is cheese with chocolate ) Both also very very tasty !

we had an early burfday celebration for wilson at this restaurant in Sentul name Lau Heong Seafood Restaurant. Its truly a hidden treasure inside Sentul. If you are familiar with Jalan Genting Klang, i think its shoudn't be difficult to find this place. Total 10 of us.

DIRECTIONS :

From Bulatan Pahang, u turn into Jalan Genting Klang, u will see Tawakal Hospital on ur left.Go straight and u wil see McDonalds and Shell Petrol Station on your left, right after Shell Petrol Station u turn left , go straight till u reach a traffic light. Go straight after the traffic light and there is a small turning on your right before the apartment name Menara Orkid. After u turn right there will be a row of shops on ur right, tat is where the restaurant is located at..( i hope my directions aint too hard to understand)

crispy skin pork knuckle - i love this dish so much...the sauce was so nice and the pork skin was so crispy and the meat was tender n juicy..THUMBS UP!!

"fu yu" fried chicken wing - i didnt taste this but according to my colleagues. it tasted ok ok only

"siong tong la la" - another dish i defintely heart. the soup was very flavourful and lots of wolfberries were added to the soup and the freshness of the la la definetely enhanced the taste of the soup..YUMMY !!

sizzling calamari and prawns - another must order dish if u dine at this restaurant.u can see that every single table who dine there order this and i must day the calamaris and the prawns are very fresh ! and the sauce..i m not sure wat sauce it is but definitely it has all our votes that it is very very tasty !

i forgot the name of this dish..i think its some kind of steam sauce with sting ray. haha, i know the picture doesnt look nice but never judge a book by its cover..it tasted not bad but a bit too spicy for those who cant take spicy food.

deep fried bean curd - the normal deep fried bean curd.nothing special to shout about

mini french beans - after so much meat and fried food we shud have some vege...

We bought a cake for Wilson's burfday and we had it as dessert.

ohh hoo....i heart this cake a lot too..first, its has my favourite fruit ~ strawberries... and the texture of the cake was soft with some cream and strawberries inside...definitely HEART it.. hope the burfday boy and my other colleagues love this cake as much as i do !

Overall, its a very good dinner with lots of silly jokes...and i seriously recommend this restaurant to u peeps put there..and the total bill came up to RM190 for the 10 of us (excluding the cake).Do give it a try if u are around Setapak area.

I was at sunway one of the weekends to visit my cousin who stays there. Pick her up and went to Sunway Pyramid.

Undecided on where to lunch so we just walk around and we stop at this restaurant name 3JC ( in mandarin its name is "san jian chuang")

drinks that we ordered.the normal blue soda with lemon,coke and honey lemon

3JC in Sauce~price at rm7.20. - u can choose what type of noodles u wan and my cousin opt for "lo shee fun". tastewise is normal dry version of "lo shee fun" but the pork ball shape was diff.as u can see from the pics it looks like 3 porkballs are sticking together.

3JC in Curry~price at rm9.50. i opt for the homemade noodles therefore its slightly more pricey.Tastewise not bad. Worth a try.

3JC in Soup~ price at rm7.60.my cousin opt for the green home made noodles. additional rm1.00 if u prefer the green homemade noodles.

3JC Soup Rice~price at rm8.20. my brother says it very nice as the soup was very flavourful. i tried a bit and totally agree.

egg plant with minced dried prawns~price at rm3.20. egg plant alwiz my favourite but i find this a bit too oily but overall the fried dried prawns enhanced the taste of the egg plant.

"foo chook" roll ~ price at rm4.50

deep fried wanton~price at rm3.20

Overall, i found the food here acceptable if u totally have no idea of wat to eat. My next visit ?? i think will be quite some time cause i stay far away from Sunway Pyramid.

Time is reli passing real fast...

Its already February...and Chinese New Year is just 2 days away. As rachel said in her blog, January was an outing month with colleague..i totally agree !! and its a month of movies too as i watch almost 2 movies in a week...and thanks to Joyce i got to watch the premier of "Kung Fu Dunk" yesterday at midvalley. I wouldn't say the movie is superb funny but its worth a watch !

I was actually browsing through my food folder and realise that i have number of places that i have yet to blog..dun worry i will blog about it all..will not even miss one of it...i wan to blog about my first burfday present..i wan to blog about wilson's early burfday celebration..i wan to blog about the most recent jimui outing.. ( i have to be more hardworking ....)

but at the moment i will be missing from here for a bout a week...for Chinese New Year holidays.. YES !!, i m goin back to ipoh. Ipoh the best place ever...(will snap pictures of everything that i eat so that i can share it with all of u..)

went to Pavillion yesterday,the very kind him wanted to accompany me to get the pair of shoes i wanted but i got the pair of shoes as my very first birthday present on Friday night( will blog about it later !excited !! *wink wink* )...so went for movies...after movie, went to coffee bean coz he say they has the very very nice chicago cheese cake !

ice blended "something" - not sure wat he ordered, and the alwiz forgetful me forget to snap my hot cafe mocha

the "chicago cheesecake" that he strongly recommend - soft cheese with slight lemon taste. I would say its a good recommendation..bcoz i myself isnt a cheese lover and usually i dun take more than 2 bites but this time i definitely have more than two bites,so if u r at coffee bean n craving for some cheese cake, do give this a try, i bet u'll like it as much as i do..

i like this view (plus the drizzling effect), KLCC was blocked by the duno-wat-name building or else i guess the view will be perfect. I think the view looks beta at night when the lights are on..i must come here again at night to see the difference.

A very nice place with cozy ambience for great get together with friends. Definitely heart this coffee bean in Pavillion,actually coz i never reli hang out at coffee bean,personally prefer starbucks more ;)

THAIPUSAM, another public holiday in Malaysia. At first it was only for Selangor state but then later it was announced that it was a public holiday for KL and Putrajaya as well..

so went to PJ to look for Joyce, by that time it was already lunch time so Joyce brought me to this famous place for "wan ton mee" in SS2. I guess all the SS2 folks knows which restaurant i m talkin about.. Yes, i m talking bout Ho Weng Kee in SS2. wasnt my first visit there, indeed my 2nd visit. On my first visit, i orderd "wan ton mee" with chicken feet but Joyce told me they are famous for their "wan ton mee" with beef so i say ok..and we ordered a bowl of "sui gao" as it is a must order item !!

I love the "wan ton mee".I miss the "sui gao"...

it is packed with people during lunch time..do give this place a try when u r at SS2 and have no idea of wat to eat !!

ML Annual Dinner - 19th January 2008

19th January was Macro Lynx annual dinner.was held at Screaming Bananas at Phileo Damansara I . Theme of the night was fine dress but most of them dress casually..

arrive thr around 6.30pm together with wilson and rick. shift all the lucky draw gifts to 2nd floor where we had our own private area. I like the decoration of the night.

Dinner was suppose to start at 7pm but due to heavy rain mostly were late. While waiting for everyone to arrive, those who has arrived can have appetizers first. When everyone arrived it was almost 8.30pm.

Firstly, Rick gave a short n simple speech, after that dinner officially started and at about 9.30 we started our games session..24 person were divided into 4 groups and games were divided into 3 rounds. Lots of laughter during the games session..After the 2nd game, Wilson told me Hong ( our sponsor of the night was about to leave, so be divide our lucky draw into 2 rounds,i say ok ! ) After that, we continue with our final game, but since there was a tie between group 2 and group 4 we had round 4 and at the end group 2 emerge as winner !!

Continue with 2nd round of lucky draw by Rick..after that , we announced the most outstanding dress and best female n male dressed of the night....( pics later will show who r the winners ! )

After that, dinner officially ended, a few of us toss with red wine and wishes everyone the best of everything !! but thats not the end yet, our gang went over to TTDI for 2nd round, dun recall the name of the place that we went too.. about 10 of us. Ordered a bottle of Chivas and we finished it real fast...Jason came slightly later to join us, n everyone told me i was very funny that night and i even took off my shoes...1 of my colleague told me i m very talkative after drinking...i forgot wat time we left TTDI, after that went to mamak nearby..i was oredi very sleepy n heavy headache but the stubborn me insist of driving home myself, so i drove home myself but i just follow my instincts n drive..( thank god i manage to reach home..thanks to Cher who followed behind me )

i felt so unorganised lately..
everything seem so messy..life, work,studies ............
Its just like in a short period of time, many things happen...
did i not handle it well enough, or i m not mature enough to handle myself when it involves my emotions ? m i too emotional ? or too soft ? i do need some space to sort out things n figure out wat i wan to do and wat i could do ........

i alwiz have thought i could handle watever that happens to me becoz i belive everything happens for a reason and definitely i gain more than i lose in every thing that has happen...but lately things dun seem to be smooth sailing..everything seem so stuck up now !!

i m feeling so guilty now...ppl told me i din ask for it to happen, BUT .....now this whole guilty feeling is taking over me...wat can i do to reduce this guilty thingy...

i m not blaming anyone for watever that has happen...bcoz i m goin to go thru it !!
i definitely will be able to come over this !! this is just another very small matter...
as long as i know wat i m doing...everything will be fine !!

n of course not to forget to those who are alwiz so willing to lend their ears to me and alwiz advicing me... ( i hope u guys know who u r...) thank u so much for all your patience and tolerance towards me.

i mus get back on track n focus to do wat i wan to do..listen to my heart !
i do know that i m getting lazy with my gym sessions nowadays, instead of sweating at the gym, my butt is sitting confortably at restaurants for heavy dinners...indulging in the comfortness of food...

Chopstik Noodle House, Midvalley

Last Friday night, was at midvalley with my colleagues because they were some items that we have to buy for our company annual dinner on sat nite ( will definitely blog later bout my company's annual dinner )..

First, is to get a hamper for the person who is going to sponsor our dinner. First stop, JUSCO supermarket, was a bit undecisive which hamper to choose, end up buying a basket hamper which contains a bottle of red wine. Hamper purchasing DONE !! it was already 9 plus n my colleague say we better go for dinner first, i say ok but clueless of whr to eat n he suggest Chopstik Noodle House, so i called Rachel n told her whr and off we went to Chopstik Noodle House. It is situated at The Boulevard, roughly next to Oh Sushi !

Overall, i think the food here are ok. Will make sure i come bac n try other food here. They do have a variety of food to choose from and they have dimsum too,but because we were there around 9plus most of the food were sold out ! anyway, my colleague footed the bill..THANKS LEE !!

went shopping with joyce one weekend at midvalley and after midvalley we went to the gardens becoz we wanted to go to isetan n becoz isetan has the brand i love "m'phosis" . . .

enough of shopping..both of us were pretty tired n joyce suggest we find a place to sit down n have a drink..and we went to starbucks.

Joyce had their signature hot chocolate n i tried their new drink, green tea latte.

i think i m the worst player among all my colleagues...but thanks to Rachel who taught me some skills on how to bowl better.. i'll try to bowl better next time ;)

Last wednesday, we, the crazee colleagues plan to celebrate Rachel's burfday in advance. Since Thursday will be public holiday...we can hang out later without worrying tat we need to wake up early the next day and go to work.

Initial plan was to go for dinner then movie but not much choices of movies so we decided to go for either bowling or k-session.....

At the end, we went for both bowling & k-session...in Rachel's blog she mention she never had a bunch of crazee colleagues like us...BUT i m sure we are all very glad to be able to find such colleagues..( i personally m very hapy tat i have a bunch of colleagues whr we can hang out n do crazee outings together..haha )

iZZi Classico ( regular ) ~ price at rm23.30. This has beef. This was recommended by the waiter as it was claim as Izzi'z specialty pizza.

Pollo Tropocale Pizza ( regular ) ~ price at rm25.30. It has smoked chicken,mushroom,red bell pepper,pineapple,garlic oil,dried chilli,mozarella cheese and tomato.

Marinara Pizza ( large ) ~ price at rm36.80. It has shrimp, mussels, roasted garlic, chilli, mozarella cheese and tomato. I think this pizza tasted a bit weird, maybe due to the mussels.

caesar salad ( full portion ) without chicken ~ price at rm15.80

Prawn Linguine Garlic Chilli ~ price at rm19.80. The picture says it all. Look at the generous serving of prawns..but tastewise, i find it ok only.

Fettucini Con Funghi ~ price at rm18.80

Sphagetti Carbonara ~ price at rm15.80. If u r a cheese lover, u'll love this.

Chicken Steak with Pasta ~ price at rm22.80.

iZZi Chicken Wing -original spicy ~ price at rm12.80

I saw their range of dessert on display but all 8 of us were way too full for the dessert. So i tell myself i definitely will come back to try the dessert.

Overall, food here taste not bad BUT its the companionship that makes up everything...Great companionship + laughter alwiz makes food taste better..

Was at midvalley last weekend. Gym session together with joyce first den makan.

After gym, i have this craving to eat at Codo and joyce has no comment..and this time i brought my camera along, so clearer pics of food from Codo

its some fried thing with mango n crab stick - tastewise, nothing much to shout about.just some normal fried food.

Overall, i love the food at this place especially their spicy beef hue tiau and the marinated beef rice that joyce ordered. Definitely a place i would recommend if u r craving for Vietnam food.

After a "bak kut teh" breakfast, me n estee went to the newly opened shopping centre at Bukit Tinggi...

it looks huge from outside but wen we walk around inside...ok le..but i saw big apple donuts !! haha..........so after some shopping...

lunch time..so we walk around n wen i saw Sakae Sushi, i was pretty excited as i have always wanted to try out this place...so both of us decided to have our lunch here..

on christmas eve of 2007 after i had dinner with my colleagues,i drove down to Klang to meet my jimui...

if i m at Klang, bak kut teh is something i never missed...BUT seriously i dont know which location at Klang offers the best Bak kut teh but i just love the one located near my jimui place at Bukit Tinggi.

"yau char guai" is a must to go with the bak kut teh ( n also cili padi..but i forgot to snap a pic of the cili padi )

its 31st.the last day of 2007 and wat i m doing ? i m blogging at home. i was supposed to be at boulevard hotel celebrating BUT i fall sick last minute..down with fever,vomit n bad cough..so it leaves me with no choice but to stay at home and recuperate !!

a lot has happened in 2007

first of all, i have been real sick a few times this year...as in real bad.hopefully in 2008 my health gets beta.....

my ex-classmates baked me a burfday cake this year with lots of my favourite fruit on top of it ~ strawberries

i permed my hair in april but in june i cut my hair short till my ears and have been keeping it short till now..i m reli loving my short hair

my sabah trip was a successful one.i had a great time n great tan in sabah..( after sabah trip i was down with fever as high as 40degrees- price to pay for wen u tanned to much at 4 diff beaches) but no doubt its a trip tat i enjoyed so much ! looking for more beach trips in 2008

has been writing more about food on my blog..seems like it has changed to some sort of food blog but my intention is just to share with all of u food that i have tried...thank u to u peeps for taking ur precious time to view my blog and leave comments.

joined fitness centre together with my dear jimui and now hoping by 2008 i m able to loose more weight

"dai ka jie" got married this year. the first among the jimuis to get married and the 6 of us are goin to be god-mom.. ( i cant wait.........)

i received my first bouquet of roses.i reli do love the roses but..............

tried the game "paintball" early this year with my colleagues and a few friends.. a game i enjoyed very much even though its very pain.

goin bac to studies in June 2008..this is one of the thing that i m reli looking forward too.......

i guess this are among the little things which i have done..i know its not any big achievements but i m satisfied and hope that i can achieved more in 2008 especially in my studies !

After a sumptous lunch, me n my colleagues had a sumptous dinner as well on christmas eve before i meet my friends later on...None of us had try this place before...

Munakata is a Fine Dining Japanese Restaurant operating its business in a huge bungalow along Jalan Yap Kwan Seng and if i did not remember wrongly its located next to a Tandoori Restaurant.

sake salmon & tobikko ~ price at rm8 per piece..( 4 piece x rm8 = rm32 ) - pricey huh ?? but i can tell u the sake salmon is soooo fresh !! i only can afford this once a year ..sob sob:(

my 2nd time to dragon-i. this time with my colleagues. since it was christmas eve so we decided to have something nice and promise to be broke together on wednesday...( i was actually craving for "xiu long bao" )

so off we went to dragon-i located at pavillion...the whole lunch i was thinking whether i wan to que up for the donuts.....( in the end..i que but gave up halfway due to unforeseen circumstances )

6 of us altogether. decided to order dishes n rice instead of the usual ala carte.

must order xiu long bao ~ price at rm10 for 4. ( its more expensive by rm2 compare to the dragon-i at cititel ) stil my favourite !!

sauteed with mince garlic or poached Hong Kong Kai Lan - we had it the poached way and its written in the menu that the Kai Lan's are flew in daily from Hong Kong ~ rm18.00

Sichuan braised beancurd with minced meat and chilli sauce ~ price at rm14.00

Sauteed diced chicken with dried chillies ~ price at rm18.00. look at the amount of dried chillis.tasted a bit like the popcorn chicken from KFC but a bit too salty for my liking

Sauteed egg plant with minced meat ~ price at rm14.00. egg plant has alwiz been something i love very much !!

Cure my cravings for "xiu long bao" and thanks to my colleagues who are willing to go there to cure my cravings...AND MOST IMPORTANT...THANKS TO RACHEL FOR THE TREAT !!!

and also another 7 days to 2008...

time flies without we realising it...

i so far have only seen pavillion and midvalley's christmas decoration..been wanted to go to the curve and 1u to see their christmas decorations but have yet to do so...

so i conclude to myself tat i love pavillion christmas decorations...

wat was i doing last year christmas ? i was at island cafe at ss2 with close friends having drinks n chat.....it was real hapy, talking back bout wat we did last time..the crazy burfday celebrations,the shopping outings and the so-out-of-mind things we did in hostel... "jimuis" i miss all of u..( god !!, i m so emo at this moment now )how i wish we can have one day whr we can turn bac time..just so tat i can taste the fun we once had in hostel.......

i remember i cried so badly at the mamak the day 2 jimuis shifting out of hostel..and i cant even bear seeing them pack that i cried in my room........and in return they are the one who console me... " JIMUIS !!! I MISS ALL OF U !!!!!!! "

tat was 2 yrs ago..we all have diff lifes now, dai ka jie got married a month ago ( and the 6 of us are goin to be god mom soon........), rachel is in UK, the rest of us are working at diff locations but still meeting up even though its alwiz not the 7 of us except for one time which was last year July. ( lets pray hard it wil be the complete 7 of us this coming chinese new year when rachel is back )

JIMUIS, i wan to tell u all, i thank god bcoz he is so generous to me by giving me such wonderful ppl in my life and helping me go thru my reli down times and to share my "syok sendiri" happiness. THANK U for alwiz being there for me, to entertain my stubbornness( i dun even know if such existed)...

been having quite a number of outings with my colleague lately...or should i say quite frequent lately....

after work, they decided to go to somewhere near our office, so we went to KLCC and end up at Chinoz on the Park.there were total of 5 of us. i love the environment of this place, and there were quite a lof of ppl, probably becoz its friday night.

ordered a jug of beer and some tit bits and some sushi........

complimentary bread and butter

forgot the name of the beans..cooked with chillis flakes.according to my colleague best to have it with beer

totally no idea wat is the name of this snack ~ sorry

soft shell crab temaki ~ rm12.00per piece

avocado dragon maki ~ deep fried jumbo prawn,mayo lettuce topped with avocado - price at rm33.00 ( my favourite of the night )

caesar salad - but the portion is real small compare to chillis. ooopss,forgot the price.....but i find it a bit too cheesy for my liking...and the funny thing is,there have a slice of salty fish on top of the salad.

chocolate tofle desert ~ price at rm18.00 ( i forgot the full name of the dessert ) but i heart this dessert..real chocolatey...

and my colleagues decided to order a tower of beer..( before we ordered this tower we already had 2 jug of beers.....)

definitely wil come back n try out the other food...the price here are above average or should i label them as pricey...i leave that for u to judge !!

one day me n my colleagues decided to go for midnight k-session..haha..

during lunch time my colleague ask me wan to go sing k ? i say okok..good but canot so early lar coz i have dinner with friends den she say around 11pm lo..i say ok den i immediately book room..haha...

reach green box at sg.wang bout 11.45pm..one of my colleague is already thr waiting..( she arrived at 11pm ) anyway, it was my first k-session with my colleagues...........

i was actually already very sleepy...but stil wan to sing...haha

on Wednesday night, after work, went for dinner with a few of my colleagues. we were so undecisive at first. so i say we decide wen we arrive at Pavillion. wen we were thr went straight to the top floor,walk around T.G.I.F and we saw this very grand restaurant and went n have a look at their menu. looks interesting and they were offering RM10 voucher and each table u can use up to 2 vouchers, so we decided to have it here. the name of the restaurant was Dain Ti Hill. They have a few outlets in Taiwan, Shanghai and Hong Kong.

Overall, the food here ok oni. My colleague complaint that the eel rice has more onions than any other thing, feels like he is eating onion rice, the pork chop rice was tasteless, the "gui fei" chicken noodle was too salty and the mongolian beef stir was ok oni n as for the soft vinegar honey, honestly i dun reli like it.. and the price here are quite pricey. Conclusion, i guess we won't be returning to this restaurant..but probably i willcome back n try out their dessert !

sunday brunch was at Dragon-i. seriously i had only tried this place once when i was at Kota Kinabalu this year May. dad actually wanted to go for dimsum, i suggested SS2 but it was already 11am and i m not so sure if they stil serve dimsum at tat time so i suggested we try Dragon-i coz i wanted to eat "xiu long bao"

tit bits charged at RM2.oo ~ it is served to every table but bear in mind that this is not complimentary

mom loves this.she said this taste better than the one she had in Shanghai. i was like erm ??? beta than the one in shanghai ? reli ? as for me, i find it ok. at least the skin wasnt too thick.

i forgot the exact name.will update later wen i refer back to my receipt. look at the fillings.very creamy but not to my liking. it tasted sweet and saltish at the same time...

meat dumpling ~ price at rm 12.00

this tasted good but too oily...its like chee cheong fun but with meat filling inside

crispy yam roll ~ price at rm6.00.....its sweet. noting much...

carrot pastry ~ price at rm8.00.

inside of this its filled with radish. mom finds it ok if u are to consume 1 but if more than that u feel a bit "jelak"...

beef "la mien" - u can opt for spicy and non-spicy.being the spicy lover of course i went for the spicy one but look at the oil...i actually scoup most of the oil out..i just cant bear it..but besides that they were generous with the beef...dad actually wanted to order the beef "la mien" but since i ordered so dad orderd this pork ribs "la mien" and i find it good. big portions of pork ribs..good good !!my bro ordered this fried rice.comes with ham and cod fish..i love the cod fish..nice nice !!

Lastly i wanted to order tdessert but 4 of us were oredi full and no one wanted to share it with me.mom say we keep the dessert for next visit.

overall the food here is ok. will come back to try the dessert. The prices here are above average. Total damage to my parents pocket for the 4 of us are RM120.00 inclusive of 10% service charge and 5% government tax

how was ur weekend ? i had a great one as mom n dad were at KL for the weekends..( although there are some sad things happening but its weekend so i cant be bothered watmore when mom n dad is here...)

mom n dad stayed at uncle's place and we went to midvalley in the evening as my lovely brother wanted to get a new pair of shoes..and me wan shopping therapy..but at the end, my bro bought wat he wanted and me end up with nothing..argh...

since no shopping therapy had been done so NEXT..food therapy..

Mom misses the food from Little Vietnam from her last visit to KL so i suggested we try Codo, located just right above of Little Vietnam. (if i m not wrong both restaurants are owned by the same company, just tat their menu is different)

Codo is located opposite Studio R at level 3.

mom and dad love this place and so do i n my brother. The food was great and the laughter we had made the food even better. U know, since dad is alwiz travelling thus dinner like this are very precious. i definitely will come bac n try out other food and REMEMBER to bring my camera as well.

i was at Pavillion with one of my roomate over the weekend. First thought was to go n get J&CO donuts but when we saw the que..OMG, its so freaking long thus i suggested that we go for lunch first then only we decide whether we still wan to come bac n que for donuts. I suggested Madam Kwan and my roomate has no objection as she has not try Madam Kwan before. (* i guess Madam Kwan is so famous that i don't need to do any intro.......)

"Nasi Bojari " - this is a must order item if u haven tasted it before !! Always remain my favourite dish at Madam Kwan. it is served with madam kwan's tri colour rice, a deep fried chicken drumstick, sambal prawns and rendang.(if u dont take beef u can ask to change the rendang)

"char kway teow" - very generous portion. it has generous portion of prawns and sotong..oohh..i heart this as well n when i m writing this i m craving for it ..

"banana fritters" - my favourite dessert at Madam Kwan.

at the end, me and my roomate were so fulled that we did not ordered the cendol. i wanted so much to have the cendol but my stomach reli do not allow me too, nevermind i definitely will be back !!

it was yien's burfday last sunday so we as roomates and housemates decided to go to 1U to try out this new shabu shabu restaurant name PLUS 1 SHABU SHABU located next to BAR-B-Q Plaza.They were 5 of us, so each of us ordered different set which are chicken set, fillet set, mutton set, sirloin set and pork set.each of this set cost rm18.90. they do have the normal set which is price at rm15.90 but since all of us are big eaters so we ordered the set which comes with extra meat..

Drinks are self service and they have self service appetizers as well and they have 10 different kind of sauces for u to choose from

this afternooon suddenly i was craving for strawberry cake so i went to the nearest Secret Recipe to try out the chocolate strawberry cake under the celebrity selection.If you purchase cakes by the celebrity selection they wil donate certain percentage amount to certain organisation.each diff cake represents diff organisation. If i did not remember wrongly, chocolate strawberry was made by carmen soo & amber chia (pls correct me ifi m wrong,thanks ! )

Went to Midvalley today with my roomate for shopping(again), i had done heaps of shopping this month on bags,shoes(i bought 6 pairs this mth..),my facial stuff and accessories.shopping is never enough for girls..its a neverending thing..will write a blog on stuff i bought this month later..

this afternoon we decided to eat at Dome before the journey of shopping begins.I guess my last visit to Dome was about 2 years ago as i don't adore the food much but me and my roomate decided to give it another try.

cranberry cooler - cranberry juice, apple juice & sprite ~ price at rm9.00

hot chocolate - a shot of Dome drinking chocolate topped up with gently steamed milk,dusted with chocolate ~ price at rm10.00(regular)

catch of the day - grilled fillet of fish,marinated with cajun, cumin & lemon juice.Served with sauteed vegetables, buttered rice and joinville sauce ~ price at rm24.50

potato wedges - chunky chips served with sweet chilli sauce and sour cream ~ price at rm8.50

chocolate mousse cake - chocolate mousse between layers of chocolate fudge cake.covered in a rich chocolate ganache and hazelnut praline ~ price at rm13.00

mega chocolate chip - home style chocolate cookie with chocolate chips, half dipped in rich chocolate ~ price at rm4.95

Overall, we don't pretty like the food here.Still pretty much the same compare to my last visit but i think the portion got slightly smaller.just my personal opinion, the "catch of the day" which we order was pretty dissapointing, but the chocolate mousse cake has both our votes..as it is "really" chocolate..guess it will not be a place whr we will choose to hang out often.

i m such a lazy bee..alwiz posting outdated post.will try to be more hardworking.

had a dinner outing with my colleague . at first we wanted to go for YUEN Steamboat but to find it close when one of our fren who arrived early inform us.last minute decision we went to the one opposite YUEN Steamboat name Tasty Pot Chinese Buffet Steamboat.(its at the row of new shoplots opposite YUEN) .Basically not much difference from YUEN Steamboat just that they offer 6 different types of soup base. soya,soya curry,tomyam, "ma lat ",herbal and the normal plain soup base. YEAH, they have the normal soya that we use to drink as soup base.they were 10 of us so we opted for 4 diff soup base which is herbal, tomyam, "ma lat " and plain soup base. none of us wanted to try the soya soup base and the soya curry..The buffet steamboat is priced at rm19.90 per person.

nothing to complain and nothing to shout about the food here but i LOVE the chicken wings here compare to YUEN.Its more crispy. i am a steamboat lover so definitely will come bac here once a while...when i crave for steamboat.

mom came down to KL again the weekend after Raya coz Dad will be in KL for the weekend before he fly off again for business trip...(my dad flies frequently due to his job).Since dad wil be in KL so mom decided to come down last minute on Friday nite. I went to my uncle's place to pick up mom n dad for dinner at Saisaki together wif my bro and my cousin bro( but sorry no pics coz i already blog about it before..).Glad that my dad loves the food from Saisaki.He says it worth it.On Sat, mom n me went shopping again at Midvalley but din bought anything this time.For dinner, my uncle suggest to have it at Bangsar Village 1 and i get to choose which restaurant are we goin to eat at..haha..

I decide to have it at "Caffe 1920" located just opposite the Hong Kong style restaurant name "chatterbox".

Let me tell u that this is a place for watching football too and they are the "Liverpool" supporter.When we arrive at about 7 sumthing at night there werent many ppl but ppl start pouring in at about 8 something because there was a football match between Liverpool and "i-dunno-the-opponent-team. About 10 of us too this time so we decided to share among us so we get to taste all the food.

i forgot the name of this lasagna but if u can take beef i recommend this.it looks diff for a lasagna but it tasted not bad.worth a try .

another outdated post..i m reli getting lazy nowadays.

it was Mel's burfday on September 29,again,out of 7 oni 4 made it.initial plan was to have dinner at italiannies but the queue was way too long and we have to wait like 30mins so we decided to change place and have it at Tony Roma's in Cineleisure. I heard its popular for its pork ribs but because its a halal restaurant in Malaysia so they oni offer beef ribs here in Malaysia.we have to wait for like 15 to 20 mins for our table so we had a walk at Cineleisure and because of that 15 mins i spent rm150 at Nike..(so broke..)and right after i pay they call and told us that our table is ready..ish ish.........if they have called 5 mins earlier..

the lighting were quite dim and the food pics that i took were blurry..

bountiful beef ribs,price at rm48.90 for a Roma Rack.

For a full rack of bountiful beef ribs its price at rm68.90 but they were only 4 of us so we did not order the full rack. The diff between the roma rack and full rack is where roma rack served 3 ribs and full rack served 5 ribs. The portion is real big and all 3 ribs were very meaty..the meat is juicy and tender..LOVE it..

Shrimp Scampi Pasta, priced at rm29.90

i love this pasta too.the portion is huge too and they were generous with the prawns..lots of prawns but after a few spoons of this pasta i find it too cheesy..but i love the tomatoes cubes served together with this pasta..

roasted garlic & rosemary chicken, priced at rm29.90

love the tendercy of the chicken and the rice and the broccoli..everything seems so right and good.rice is fragant, brocolli is so fresh and the chicken,cooked to the right perfection...i HEART this..

Overall, i personally love this place. They might not have as much choices as Chillis but its worth a try especially the beef ribs and once again great companionship makes food taste beta morever its the jimuis..we did not order any dessert bcoz we bought our own burfday cake for Mel.

a simple fruit basket cake from bread story.Luckily the burfday gal heart this cake.i love this cake too especially the chocolates..inside is normal sponge cake with generous amounts of fruits..

Batu Caves

this is a very out dated post.

on one weekend i went to batu caves with yien,potato,koo zhai & froggy..so we left home at bout 9 plus am and went for breakfast nearby batu caves.we had porridge n fried noodles for breakfast..(oopss..forget to take pics coz we were very hungry but the porridge was very good to start the day)

after breakfast we went straight to batu caves..haha,when i look at the staircase i told them, i beta wait for your down here..i dun wan to climb that flight of stairs but they keep pesting me to go up with them..

n actually u only need about 15 to 20 minutes to go all the way up there,which is approximately 250 stepd n on the way up u get to see lots of cute monkey.

and it took us another 20 mins to come down..and what next ? eat again..froggy say he is goin to bring us to this place where the fried "tung fun" and fish head noodles are very good.

this place has no name.its is somewhere at the housing area off jalan ipoh.it is located in front of the temple at the housing area..the exact address i m not so sure..sorry..

there were generous with the ingredients.that include fried fish,fish cakes,salty vege,fishballs and cabbage.although i do not prefer fish head noodle with evaporated milk but this one is slightly diff..and we ordered the fish head noodle for 2 person and it came in such huge portion

this one has my vote.also very generous with ingredients.lots of meat and we ordered for 2 person and its so huge that 5 of us were not able to finish it.( i would love this more if they did not add in the vege)

how was everyone's weekend ? i had a great one wif my mom,grandparents & cousins coming down to KL.they stayed at my uncle's place.on saturday night, grandma cook a sumptous meal at uncle's place..ooohh, i miss my grandma's food.on sunday night we had dinner at Delicious by Ms.Read at Bangsar Village II. (been wanted to try this place, thanks to my uncle for treating all of us ).there were 11 of us.

chargrilled rack of lamb - (chilled) served with tunisian eggplant,mini yoghurt & fried potatoes

traditional braised oxtail in tomato sauce - served with garlic mashed potato

chargrilled sirloin steak - (300g chilled) served with bearnaise sauce,asparagus & fried potatoes

we had a great night.great family outing that i always enjoy.all these made the food even tastier.but i recommend the "duck confit cassoulet"to all of you who haven't been to "DELIcious" before and the pasta of the night.
all of us were very very full that we were not able to order dessert.i wanted so much to try "chocolicious sundae served with fresh strawberries" but my tummy wouldnt allow me too but no worries i definitely will come back and try the dessert.

i m suppose to blog about tony's roma but i left the pics at home so i have decided to blog bout Italiannies at The Curve.

We were there last weekend to celebrate one of the jimuis burfday.but at the end out of 7 oni 3 make it but liching and her fiancee manage to join us at little penang for a short but very talkative gathering as the 3 of us ask her questions non-stop in regards to her upcoming wedding in november.

Back to food.Since they were oni 3 of us so only order 2 main dish and a dessert ( i ate 3 quarter of the dessert..hehe..its soooooo DELICIOUS !! )

this is a complimentary from Italiannies.Its is given to each table before we start ordering.I just love the plain bread dipped into the tuscany olive oil and vinegar.

Seafood Cioppino,price at rm32.90.

This was written new on the menu hence we decided to try this.Good.There were lots of mussels,no matter the big ones or the small ones and lots of prawns.The prawns are so fresh that u feel the crunchiness due to the freshness of the prawns.Thumbs up !!

Chicken Cacciatore, price at rm38.90

our 2nd main dish, also a brand new item on the menu which the waitress recommend us to try.its grilled chicken simmered with thick tomato wine sauce.YEAH , i LOVE the sauce and the potatoes.its written in the menu its rosemary potatoes.

After this 2 dish, we are already stuffed but i still wan to try the cheesecake recommended by my friend.So i say if ur cant finish it i will finish it by myself and wen the cake arrived.in my heart i was thinkin,OMG its big ...

NY Strawberry Cheesecake, price at rm12.90

This is a must try cheesecake.i think 3 person can share this one slice.i like the strawberry sauce.its so fresh with so many strawberries.and the cheesecake dipped into the strawberry sauce..oohh..tat kind of feeling send u straight to heaven !!and the best part,its not very sweet.oohh..i m missing it soo much but if i going to italiannies again i wan to try thr cappuccino pie. ( i heard its great too).will upload photos of us later !!

J&Co Donuts,Pavillion

Yesterday,my colleague decided to have our lunch at the newly open shopping centre,PAVILLION. first thing that came into my mind was J&Co Donuts.heard lots of review bout it and comparison between Big Apple Donuts and J&Co Donuts and arguements like who was the original one but doeant matter much to me as long as it is tasty.

Firstly, lunch is at Nando's and after lunch we headed straight to J&Co Donuts and i the "so-called-gila-donut-fan" bought 2 dozens...i think i reli have gone crazee oredi..

look in the total amount of donuts me n my colleagues bought.

Conclusion, i find it too sweet for my liking.

I PREFER BIG APPLE DONUTS !!!

i have heard lots of review about Big Apple Donuts and at last i myself get to taste it and i fell in love with it immediately.i m so addicted to the Donuts now and i have been eating Big Apple Donuts 3 days in a row from Monday...(i feel so bloated now..thanks to the donuts )

i personally prefer Big Apple Donuts to Dunkin Donuts.Big Apple Donuts texture are so much softer and not so sweet. I'll let my pics do the talking..

Purple Cane Restaurant, Shaw Parade

last week we went to Purple Cane Restaurant at Shaw Parade for lunch.As we heard all the dishes at Purple Cane are based on tea.They use different kinds of tea for their dishes.

we ordered a teapot of "pu er" price at rm1.80 per person.

i ordered a fried mee hoon homemade style with tea milk

my colleague ordered tea rice with simmered chicken in black tea

another colleague of mine ordered spiced noodle sze chuan style in black tea i personally love the food here as the food served are not very oily and i dont feel thirsty after having lunch here.( ppl used to say that if u feel very thirsty after eating something means that the food has high content of ajimonoto) and the price here is very reasonable. Will definitely come bac again to try other food on the menu.

Ice Blended Mango Passionfruit,Starbucks

this is another outdated post,i was looking at the photographs tat i took n i realise i haven post about this new drink i tried in starbucks.

it was very hot afternoon tat day tat i decided to go n try this new drink.i personally love mango flavour stuff more so i decide to choose this ; ice blended mango passionfruit and a chicken pie.and guess wat,the minute i sat down at one corner in starbucks it started to rain heavily ;) i love to sit down at one corner , looking around at ppl and to read my book.at the moment i m reading "For My Hands Only by Stephen Eng Huat Ling".its a true story about a little boy who grew up in poverty but never gives up his hopes and dreams.

oopss..back to the new starbucks drink, i find so so only,nothing to shout about.but the taste of the passionfruit has over power the mango taste and its too sweet for my liking.the chicken pie was nothing too special either.i wanted to order their apple crumble pie with ice cream but it wasnt available,toooo bad :(

Zen,Midvalley

i was at midvalley with of of my jimuis coz she wanted to buy a set of working suit.we went to almost all the places where working suits are available but she did not find anything that she wanted. at the end we went to Edmunser.well tat was her last resort as we thought it will be very expensive but it turn out tat the price was almost the same as G2000.and guess wat we were in there for like 15 minutes and she found the suit that she wanted.mission accomplished!! by then our leg were very tired and wanted to find a place to sit down n have a drink so we went to the cinema level and saw this new restaurant name ZEN.(i think is a subsidiary of Secret Recipe coz the cups they use were printed Secret Recipe..pls correct me if i m wrong..)i ordered ice lemon tea and my fren ordered a hot chocolate and we ordered a warm chocolate gateux,price at rm6.50.it was reli warm n soft and i love the chocolate melting from inside.i think it will be beta to share it bcoz after the 2nd and 3rd bite i kind of find it very sweet.

i was back in ipoh last weekend.i had a great time wif my dearest family and frens and goin bac to ipoh means lots of eating to be done but i m goin to share something slightly diff this time instead of writing about "nga choi kai" .

we were at Jusco, Ipoh tat day and me and a few friends wanted something not too heavy for lunch so we decided to go to The Bamboo House located next to Maybank on 2nd floor.

There were 4 of us. We ordered a pot of chinese tea, 1 bowl of fish head mihun, korea style pork ribs and the crispy bean curd.

The fish head mihun was so delicious tat we finish up all the soup. There are lots of ingredients in the soup such as tomatoes,"ham choy", and lots of fish. GOOD !!

The Korean style pork ribs was delicious too.the taste was jus right and its very crispy.not too salty and not too sweet.

and tofu has alwiz been my favourite.this beancurd is very nice.i lurve it soo much.the texture is so soft and it is very fragant.its crispy outside and soft inside.

conclusion,the food was good and price was reasonable.

There are other food which we wanted to try but we wan to go and have ipoh white coffee so we will come back n try the Fish Head Curry and the Sambal Sotong. i heard its very delicious too.
