Bumbu Bali, Bandar Puteri Puchong

so how did u celebrate ur new year ? i hope everyone of u had a great new year celebration

for me..a simple n lovely dinner at Bumbu Bali at Bandar Puteri Puchong wif the jimuis and our god daughter,Chloe..and after dinner we head to Li Ching's place to chat n play wif our little princess.

Before dinner i met up wif Joyce at Bangsar..den went back to her home and bath n get ready for dinner..we were late..Liching was the first to arrive follow by Estee den oni us...

My first time at Bumbu Bali and the food is reli nice and in real big portion..if u r a small eater i suggest u share it...

mojito - combination of mint leaves,lime n soda ~ rm8.90. a very refreshing drink, but if u do not like the taste of mint leaves u might not like it...

apple esplanade - combination of apple, lemon and soda ~ rm8.90. i like this very much. The combination of sweet apple and sourish lemon is just perfect...

Nasi Campur Bumbu Bali ~ rm28.50. This is a must try item in Bumbu Bali. Consists of kangkungs, prawns, sotongs, grilled fish, option of either beef or chicken (i opted for beef...) and some specialty otak otak fr Bumbu Bali. 2 types of chilli sauce and a small plate of fruits. This is real big portion,luckily i shared it with Joyce.

Nasi Ayam Bertutu ~ rm20.50. When this arrive, we were shocked with the size of the chicken.They gave half of the chicken...Taste very good...

They ordered barley lime, lamb and chicken platter( they gave u 3 piece of real big lamb chops), De Megoreng(rice set that comes with a huge drumstick) but i was late so i did not have chance to take pics of them but i can tell you that its in real big portion and very tasty..and the total bill for the 7 of us was rm209. I would say its reasonable for such big portion of food.Will definitely return again to try other food...Although our little princess has yet to get a chance to try all the food but she enjoy the cucumbers that comes with the set...

Paddington Pancake House, The Gardens

this is another way outdated post.. (and by the time i post this,liching already safely deliver a baby girl)

we went to Paddington Pancake House at The Gardens to celebrate Liching's be-earlier burfday.

but this time oni Joyce and me made it..total 4 of us including liching's husband..

forgot the name of this dish but it definitely did not fill up our mommy-to-be

TOKYO - grilled chicken breast,tomatoes,chicken ham,oyster mushroom,mozarella served with rolled pannekoek & mashed potatoes~ price at 18.50

Sizzling premium Argentinian tenderloin - 300g serving with peach and plum salad and passionfruit mustard dressing ~ price at rm39.50

Treasure box - bite size dollar pancakes with strawberries,bananas,plums,peaches,raisins,nuts,cinnamon and ice cream ~ price at rm17.00

forgot to take down the name of this too.....(but i heart this !)

Overall, we love their dessert more than their mains and from what we observed, usually people come for their dessert...
All 4 of us love both the dessert a lot especially Treasure box.....i would say this is place great for dessert.as for their mains, i guess there are something special because all their mains are served with different types of pancakes..a new way of eating pancakes instead ofthe traditional pancakes..and not to forget that their menu is very colourful and interesting..u will need sometime to browse thru and enjoy the menu book.

yeah , liching gave birth this morning at 9plus..
yesterday she msg us and told us she is admitted into the hosp waiting for delivery..
we were so excited.....den this morning her husband text us saying liching delivered a baby girl.both are fine !

our little princess is here...
our beloved liching, take more rest now ya......

Liching's home, Puchong

Liching's home. That is not the name of a restaurant. Its my jimuis place. Her new home in Puchong. We went n visit her..a very cosy and comfy home. Again not the 7 of us. only 5 of us manage to make it to liching's place..( we must punish teresa oredi..)



We had a great time.we chat n laugh non stop and gamble..haha...

and we had McD delivery for dinner. lazy to go out coz we were stil gambling..haha..but McD tasted too good last nite with the companions of the jimuis.



Hopefully the next gathering wil be the complete 7 of us. here is a pic of the 5 of us with the pretty mommy-to-be



now, all the jimuis are so excited for the baby's arrival...( meanwhile apple yee yee wil continue to buy u lots lots pretty dresses for u to wear, so be a good girl..)

liching's wedding dinner was held at Hee Loi Ten in Serdang..(is the name of the restaurant correct ?correct me if i m wrong.TQ)we were late for the dinner but was so glad tat we did not lost our way..(thanks to joyce for showing the way..or else i think i will get lost at duno where..)

so hapy and glad to see liching and her husband..

i m so hapy tonite.cant concentrate on my revision.Received a sms from liching saying tat she is getting married..sooo hapy for her..the 1st among us to get married......the rest of the jimuis were shocked too but we are all so hapy for her...

arghhh..i have no words in mind now to describe our joy n happiness for her..

dinner date has been set..n we cant wait for the day to arrive..

rachel , apple , liching , meow

previously,we had a short n simple farewell for rachel before she leaves for UK on the 1st of June to further her studies there....so we organise a simple dinner at Manhattan Fish Market at Midvalley, but she was late due to bad jam..she came at around 9pm wen we already finish our dinner..(she sms ask us not to wait as we were very hungry)..

there were suppose to be 7 of us but oni 4 of us make it..other 3 did not make it due to work commitments...

at the time wen i m writting this she is already in UK and will be back 4 months later..sorry for the late post becoz i was on holiday n i will be back wif blogs for my holidays.....

estee's burfday..she came over to my place on the 19th nite.planning to surprise her but she arrived late but was glad to see her hapy blowing the cake tat i buy..she blew her cake at my house balcony...den we chatted at the balcony together wif her maid,simon !!! until almost 2.30am

on the 20th - we went to pick up teresa n joyce n head to 1u as planned n we easily found our way thr.we reached thr about 3.30pm..and of course shopping again..haha..but we are so excited bout the sushi buffet coz actually we are hungry. we only took light breakfast..estee n teresa din join us for shopping coz they wan to find a place to sit down n start their "work".so oni me n j0yce...saw something very nice at la senze but too bad no more size..

den sharp at 6.30pm we are in the restaurant already...haha..the salmon sushi was great..only one word to describe our dinner - fantabulous !!! companion was great and food was great n we laugh a lot...here are some pics to share n last but not least hapy burfday estee darling!!! i hope u had a great day on ur burfday !!

deeparaya wif jimuis in ipoh..

it was a short but great holidays bac then during deeparaya..spend some quality time wif close frens a a few jimuis bac in ipoh.. the 3 days 2 nites were well spend..

the nite wen we arrive ipoh we straight went for dinner which is "nga choi kai" at "lou wong".. it was raining wen we arrive for dinner and since its continuous public holiday most of the people go bac to ipoh n for dat few days ipoh was like kl..everywhere is jam n packed wif ppl..we waited for almost an hour before we got a table..so after dinner went bac to my grandma place for a while,intro intro my frens to my family den cabut balik my home to unpacked n go yumcha...

well..mel wanted to drink sum alcoholic drinks so we headed to this place call MP n order a bucket of beer..well it was a great hang out n bout 2 am went bac to tidur coz tomoro morning gonne wake up early for dim sum at "foh san" and to meet another jimui who will be cuming from kajang.she promise wan to meet us at 8.30am for breakfast tapi at the end overslept so they change their plan n cum in the afternoon..anyway we woke up late oso.reach "foh san" at about 9.45am n again its crowded wif ppl n we waited till 10.30 oni we managed to get a table..thought of going for laksa for lunch but all stil so full so we went n do gurls stuff..wat more else...of course SHOPPING !!!!!!!brought them to ipoh parade n everyone bought something..no one went bac empty handed..after that went to oldtown kopitiam n had coffee n some toast n den head home for a short rest n bath then meet up wif another jimui at jusco before goin for dinner..we had 2 rounds of dinner.1st we makan"lok lok" den we went n makan fried noodles wif freshly steamed mini octopus..DELICIOUS!!! n we went for drinks after dat..at MP again but diff branch.this time beside beer we tried the tequila pop too but they added too much sprite..

last day..went breakfast at the same place coz the other jimui have yet to makan at "foh san" but not so crowded as the day before.after breakfast we went to "sam poh tong" to feed turtles..but the weather was real hot..den after dat i head bac to buy a cake from secret recipe for mom's early celebration of burfday n gave her a surprise..haha..den head to my grandma place for lunch n rest for a while den head to kl to the hectic life again..mis home n mom so much..dun feel like goin bac to kl at all..i miss mom !!! ( many more pics but lazy to upload..hehe..)
