6th & 7th day in Sabah, 24th & 25th May 07

on the 24th we didnt reli go anywhere..gina came n pick us up n we went to Wisma Merdeka for shopping but nothing much there..but i bought my mask there..(skin food rice mask)...then later on we went to Potato's house for dinner..and then her dad send us bac to Cyril's place..

on the 25th..we went for brunch somewhere near kaeseng's place but i couldnt remember the name..n we ate "char kuey tiau", spring chicken, a bit of dim sum n the most important we ate "wo tip"( rachel claim that sabah's "wo tip" is the best !!).we tried the fried one n the steam ones.personally i prefer the steam ones..after tat we were so full..

after that we went to Likas Square to buy some local nuts to bring bac to KL and i bought some Sabah Handmande Chocolate..den after tat we left for Karambunai..(hooray..another tanning at the beach !!)Karambunai is a luxury resort.If u prefer only beach holiday, i would say Karambunai would be a not bad place but personally i stil prefer manukan !!

after karambunai we went back to cyril's place n clean ourself up coz after all the salty sea water we are all so sticky.we did not join cyril n his parents for dinner bcoz gina is bringing us to this place name "upperstar" for dinner..i love that place..the atmosphere was good n the food there is not pricey..

so after we ordered wat we wanted. time for me n st to camwhore before the food arrives..haha

right after this pic was taken, our drinks arrived.me and estee shared a fresh fruit juice n a cocktail name "singapore sling" but i prefer the one from Singapore Airlines..

and next was the food we ordered.......
we reli enjoy ourselves there..the surroundings n the music was great..after dinner gina brought us to this place name little taiwan to drink "zhen zhu nai cha"..this is a bit diff bcoz they use tiny black pearls which is said to be originally imported from taiwan..(till today i stil mis little taiwan's drinks)
after hanging at "little taiwan" for about an hour gina sent us home..we were already very sleepy...took bath n went to bed coz kaeseng will be bringing us to this place name "menggatal" tomorrow...

5th day in Sabah , 23rd May 07

we woke up early too this morning coz we are goin to Pulau Manukan (the main purpose of this trip was to go to beaches)...kaeseng came n pick us up n go for breakfast n den to Jesselton Port to take a speed boat to Pulau Manukan...it will take about 25 minutes to arrive the Pulau from Jesselton Port..

the beach was so gorgeous..fell in love with it immediately..the seawater was so clear n u can see so many different fishes even at the shore...i was so feeling so hot due to the weather so right after putting on sun block, straight away "terjun" into the sea...gosh !! i stil remember how it felt...i jus couldnt find a word to describe the beauty of manukan...( me n my jimuis are beach freaks !!)

i wanted so much to snorkel n see how beauty are the fishes n corals but i was afraid n estee n the rest was like keep on asking me to go down n float but i resist coz i was afraid...to think back of it now i felt funny, y at tat moment i was afraid to go down..after much persuasion i went wif yien..gosh !! its so beautiful..n the sea cucumbers are so cute !! i never seen a real living sea cucumber..and after tat we went further..i have never swim with fishes so near before in my life..they are just right infront of ur eyes..when u bring ur bread out..all the fishes will come to u..its awesome..an experience n feeling tat i never will forget...its such an amazing feeling..no words can decribe how i felt at tat time..(since we dont have a water proof camera we didnt take any pics..but they are all locked in my heart )

after that me and estee went for parasailing...the view was fantastic...yien went on the speed boat to help us take pics....the view of the sea from above = MARVELLOUS !! i wish i could have taken more pics but my digicam would not allow me too due to circumstances..(but i guarantee those pics are permanently locked our hearts)

after parasailing, went bac to the beach n tanned

itwas reli fun n i love manukan so much so much..(hoping to go back to the islands around manukan such as pulau sapi...)

we left at 5pm...something not so hapy happen wen we were to go back but its alright now n our bond grew stronger !!......come to think back of what happen was reli funny !!

4th day in Sabah, 22nd March 07

we woke up early today bcoz kaeseng's dad is goin to bring us to National Park and after tat we will be goin to Poring's Hot Spring..kaeseng came to pick us up at 7am for breakfast n we had "kon lou mee" for breakfast..the taste of the noodles was good, i like it,their "kon lou mee" was a bit different from us..



after breakfast, we went bac to kaeseng's place to meet up wif his dad to start our journey to National Park,located at Kundasang,it will take about 1 and a half hour to reach there..me,estee n yien are so excited in the car..and we reach this place name "Nabalu"..his dad stop by there to let us take some clearer view of Mt. KK and for us to buy some handmade souvenirs..n tat was whr we got a necklace for Mel..(hope she likes it)..

Nabalu is jus a stopover for us to take pics bcoz kaeseng's dad say when we reach National Park we wouldn't be able to see the mountain clearly becoz it would be covered up by the mist and it took us another half an hour before we reach National Park..the weather thr was so cooling compare to KK city..we jus love the weather there..

and this is the biggest "fake" rafflesia available in national park..after that we went to this hanging bridge..(damn i was bloordy scared wen i was crossing the bridge)..

and after tat went to "pondok timpohon"..the starting point to climb Mt.KK

later on we went to Poring's Hot Spring...me, estee n yien had never been to a hot spring, we were pretty excited on how was it goin to be..and wen we arrive there it was pretty cute to see ppl soaking in tubs of hot water.....

at first the hot water was filling up real slow den kaeseng found this tube to connect from the other tap...me,estee n yien share a tub n kaeseng n his dad share a tub..we were having fun in it.....it was such a great time tat all of us had...i jus love my holiday in Sabah..

3rd day in Sabah , 21st May 07

on the 20th we did not go anywhere due to the fact that we were damn damn tired, and estee sprained her leg the night before therefore we stayed home for a day to rest but we had great lunch at home, cyril packed us this chicken rice from the shop name "Chicken Hut" but i forgetten to take some pics..but the chicken rice was great !! later around 3 we went to this famous place name "yo yo" for a drink but i find it ok ok oni n met up wif my cousin..(my cousin wen to sabah wif his friends too ).For dinner, cyril's mom n sister cook..the chicken wings was great and we had wine wif cyril's mom..

on the 21st, we had lunch at this restaurant name "Tu Long"at Warisan Square.(oops, by the way Warisan Square is a new shopping center in KK, they have Esprit, Padini Concept Store,Blay,Roxy, Charles n Keith..all the branded shops are there)back to the restaurant, the food there was so so..we tried the famous "xiu long bao" but the skin was very thick..not so good !!

we went to sutra harbour and tanjung aru...
lets start wif some pics from sutra harbour..we took pics in the toilet..the toilet was so cooling compare to the weather out thr..so we took a 5 mins nap at the sofa before camwhoring in front of the mirror...

later on we went to this beach name tanjung aru, we wanted to have coconut but none of the stalls are selling coconut instead all stalls are selling sugar cane..den at the last stall we found coconut drink so we ordered 3 cups but the coconut water taste like water wif sugar !! so dissapointed but the beach was beautiful..and they are lots of baby crabs.....and we caught a few baby crabs..

1st day in Sabah , 19th May 07

at last the long awaited trip is here !! me n estee depart from KL at 10.20am..n surprisingly no delay n sharp 12.50pm we arrive Kota Kinabalu Air Asia Airport, and cyril n kaeseng was already thr to pick us up..gosh the weather was superb hot..it is terribly hot,worst then KL..

(now i know wat is HOT !!)

cyril took us for lunch at this place called "Damai"..we had dry noodles n pork internal organs

after that we went to bukit bendera



and then to yayasan sabah

later on at night we had dinner with cyril's parents at Seafood Village near to the Port View..in Kota Kinabalu almost everywhere u go u can see the sea..n later after the dinner we joined cyril's frens at this club name "the bed"..clubbing is different from KL..they had live bands n the songs was great n the 2 female singer had great voice !! thumbs up to them !! yien n gina n potato join us later....we went home around 2am n bath n rest !! a very tiring day !!

rachel , apple , liching , meow

previously,we had a short n simple farewell for rachel before she leaves for UK on the 1st of June to further her studies there....so we organise a simple dinner at Manhattan Fish Market at Midvalley, but she was late due to bad jam..she came at around 9pm wen we already finish our dinner..(she sms ask us not to wait as we were very hungry)..

there were suppose to be 7 of us but oni 4 of us make it..other 3 did not make it due to work commitments...

at the time wen i m writting this she is already in UK and will be back 4 months later..sorry for the late post becoz i was on holiday n i will be back wif blogs for my holidays.....

This is to Rachel : all the best to u !! we gather again wen u r back in September !! Take care !!

happy mother's day !!

this is to wish my dearest mommy "Hapy Mother's Day".....

sorry i wasnt bac in ipoh to celebrate this wif u but i promise the belated one wil be a good one..but i know every moment spend wif u is mother's day !!

my mom has been my greatest pillar of strength for me to believe in my dreams,i might have some bad times wif her but i believe she loves me millions..

i might not have make her proud in my studies n stil trying hard to do so..and i know i might have taken a longer period of time to complete it but i knoe she will not give up in me coz she believes in me..and i know she loves me alot..letting me do things in my way and has alwiz been trying to guide me as i grow...i m one of the luckiest person in the world as mom is my best fren as i can share many things wif her and she can be funny at times n she is the one who understands me the most..

mom,if u are reading this i just wan u to know tat no words can xpress my love n gratitude for u..I LOVE U SO MUCH !!!

i know i was rebellious n not an obedient girl n very stubborn at times but u tolerated me..THANK U MOM SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING !!!
